I had sold a few bags in my new Etsy shop and every sale is exciting. Impressed that someone actually loved my bags as much as I did…. enough to buy them.  I was particularly over the moon to have been contacted from my Etsy shop for my first custom order. My client started by telling me specifically what she would like the bag for. The spec was a medium sized bag she can use travelling in and around the city, she said she would prefer to wear cross body or across her arm, I decided to add an adjustable long cross body strap and 2 shorter grab handles, also she required a small zip pocket on the outside for her london train pass, a small slip pocket on the outside for packet of tissues. I waited with excitement for her jacket to arrive by post and loved it when it did. A gorgeous rich red wine colour with some fab features to use on her bag, and some lovely pieces of fabric from shirts of both her mother and father (a little challenging as none were very big and would need to be patched together for the lining to take shape) but I got there and was pleased with the result.
