It is always great to catch up with a friend from way back that I’d not heard from for many years , (well not quite the truth as we did text Happy Birthday to each other every December). We had both been busy in our own lives with our young families and as happens to a lot of us we hadn’t seen each other for a very long time. Strange when you live in the same town and your paths never cross from one five year stretch to the next. After contacting me through FB we arranged a day for a visit, it was fab to chat again after so long,  we decided on this boxy prada inspired bag , it was fab for her but my pattern was a bit too big for her petite frame, I set about scaling down my pattern to make a smaller version for her. She bought along her gorgeous dark chocolate leather jacket to which I started getting excited at but alas it wasn’t for me to cut up… I was to source another coat the same colour to make her bag out of so that the bag matched her coat. Anyway this is what I found , amazing supple soft chocolate brown leather in fab conditionThe colour was a perfect match and it was all systems go, after a couple of days or so I was ready to hand over her new bag along with a little purse made from left over leather.We arranged a day to collect the bag and what a delight opening the door to her and her bottle of bubbles, rude not to have a glass or two in the sun.
